I have been shopping
with Piedmont Books since they opened. When they moved a mile north
along Reynolda, into the Food Lion shopping center, the size of the
place expanded into a veritable football field of books. Watch-cat
Roscoe may open one eye from his perch atop the adding machine to
welcome you I almost forgot to say that this store PAYS CASH for books,
from used paperbacks to textbooks. You get more money for textbooks from
Piedmont Books than from reselling to the university bookstore!
A Must Visit
Piedmont Books are a
must stop for book lovers. They have it all and at great prices. There
is a good selection. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about
books. Both have been in the business a number of years. I wish every
community had a bookstore like theirs. -Dr. Victor Lyons, repeat

bookstore. Great place to take the children for lunch and to pick up
some inexpensive children's books. Of course they have books for
every age and taste.)
This used bookstore is the best I have ever been to. The owners are on site, friendly, funny, helpful people. Even the dog is friendly! Not only will they sell you good books, but they also buy books and will give you cash or store credit. If you need a book for yourself or a child, this is the place to go! Now located in larger store in Oldtown Shopping Center right down the road from their former shop. Great place to take the kids on a rainy Saturday!

Very quaint used book store (including dvds & cds). Decent selection
with dirt cheap prices. Extremely friendly & helpful staff (may have
been the owners).
